The seemingly quiet forest was actually filled with danger. Bai Wanxi listened to the sound of a flute coming from beyond the barrier. After some thought, she stepped through the barrier.
This barrier was formed by the minds of the two Holy Maidens, Bai Wanxi and Bai Jiao'er. Therefore, Bai Wanxi could travel freely to and fro.
However, Bai Wanxi had just stepped through the barrier when she suddenly felt as if there was nothing under her feet. A suction force pulled her body forward.
Bai Wanxi was instantly pulled into the darkness. Her body fell rapidly and she arrived at a paradise.
Bai Wanxi frowned and reached out to tug at the grass on the ground. She realized that everything around her was real. She pinched herself hard and felt a sharp pain. It was obvious that she wasn't in an illusion.
She had indeed arrived at an alternate dimension.
Just as Bai Wanxi realized this, an unruly voice came from behind her.
