"Oh, I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to…" Micaela mumbled as she lowered her gaze.
She was very careful not to scare away Renz. If she suddenly made a move on him, he might flee again. She didn't want Renz to go back acting rude and harsh on her.
He might push her away again because he wanted to remain faithful to Selene.
Meanwhile, Renz appreciated Micaela for controlling herself. She told him that she still had feelings for him but she would try her best not to get in between Selene and him.
The way she caressed his face a while ago and touched his lips, Renz could tell that Micaela almost broke her word but she still managed to restrain herself.
"It's alright. You should rest. I should go back to the company now. Remember the doctor's advice, okay? Just call me if you need anything."
Renz grabbed his coat as he bid goodbye to Micaela. She could only nod her head and watch him leave her room.
