Chapter 9 - LGfM 9 Together

Petra likes sociology classes, a branch of science that studies society and its development. In studying sociology, Petra also gets knowledge about nature, behavior, social processes, and their changes from time to time. That's why Petra is easy to get along with anyone and easy to blend in with his new environment.

Petra's goal is to become an ambassador for Mestonia. With that Petra can travel around the world, seeing the diversity of people's lives and social conditions in every area he visits. Therefore, Petra chose the Social class at Metropol High School instead of the Science class which only contained numbers, formulas, and mathematics. Then it will end up in government offices, laboratories, and the like, which are not far from the formula and its friends.

Not that Petra doesn't like any of these things. Mathematics for example, in which mathematics itself is a part of social life. Buying and selling require a basic mathematical formula for making transactions. Computing tools, cleaning robots, and production machines move in control due to advanced mathematical formulas.

However, today there was a young man with cold eyes and a cute smile that Petra didn't like asking him about math for some reason. One thing that Petra believed was that he had a bad feeling about this.

"Mathematics is part of people's lives," Petra answered carelessly. Honestly, Petra

is reluctant to serve Lyon's increasingly bizarre babble.

"Of course, of course, of course," said Lyon agreeing. The smile on his lips slowly faded. Realized that the girl in front of him was not interested, or was selling dearly.

"So, what did you want to say earlier?" asked Petra, trying to bring back to the topic of the matter between the waiter and the customer.

"Sit down. And help me finish this meal." Lyon said who suddenly stood up to give Petra a seat in a very polite manner like a dinner at a banquet somewhere.

Being treated like a young lady at a banquet like that, of course, made Petra unable to move, uncomfortable. Petra could not refuse the request of this very polite customer. Then Petra sat across from Lyon who had changed with a serious face again. A cold white face, like the look in her eyes. In stark contras

t to Petra, whose face is cheerful and friendly naturally without being artificial.

"Sorry, sir. I can't eat this," said Petra trying to refuse Lyon's request which for Petra

was even stranger.

"I insisted. So please, just do what I say. Okay?" sighed Lyon as if he was out of ideas. Exhaling heavily as if his life's burdens were too complex and too difficult to break down into words. Lyon turned his head towards the window on his right, directing his gaze beyond the grove of various flowers and manicured shrubs. Lyon's thoughts drifted among the white clouds in the blue evening sky.

While eating the food that Lyon has not touched, Petra secretly steals a glance at Lyon, who is now busy with a black cellphone in his left hand. Lyon looks so serious pressing the cellphone screen, maybe if Petra leaves Lyon just like that the young man will not realize. However, Petra was not that freaky. You can't, after the annoying young man gives him free food. Petra

couldn't just walk away without thanking the person who fed her. Even though he was Lyon, an arrogant, annoying young man.

"If there is nothing more you need, then I ask permission to go." squealed Petra after swallowing the last piece of food from the spoon she was holding from her right hand.

"Wait. I haven't heard you say 'I promise' have you?" Lyon said as he put the cellphone next to his empty plate then looked at Petra closely.

"What?" suddenly Petra was shocked. What does it mean?

"You have to promise me." correction Lyon did not want to lose.

"Promise what?" roared Petra, increasingly clueless.

"For the food, you've eaten just now," said Lyon with his sly smile again.

"So the master tricked me for a word of promise that I do not know what to promise and what is the contents of the agreement. Is that so?" Petra gasped impatiently.

In that instant Petra corrected the sentence of praise for the sly young man, indeed the swear sentence was more suitable for Lyon. However, Petra couldn't get the words out of her mouth. And in return, Petra was only able to glare out of his two eyes.

Hurriedly Petra was about to get up from the chair and leave Lyon but Lyon managed to prevent it. Lyon again gripped Petra's left hand firmly. Gaze sharply at Petra. Inevitably Petra sat back down, catching his breath slowly while waiting for Lyon's answer to his question.

"You like math, right?" Lyon repeated.

"Not too," Petra replied reluctantly.

"But, you can do the math and higher level, right?" Lyon said emphasizing the word math and did not take his eyes off Petra.

Such intense gaze naturally stirred up Petra's heart and made him lose control a little.

"What do you mean?" asked Petra still not understanding what Lyon meant.

"Accounting," Lyon replied briefly.

"I see. Accounting is on the curriculum list for Social Class," said Petra, beginning to understand.

"Right. And I want you to promise to help me. Later, I'll pay you a fee for every accounting report you make. Okay?" Lyon explained slowly. He was afraid that if Petra could not digest what he meant and wanted.

"Not okay. I refuse." Petra said, standing up.

Petra could not possibly intend to deal with strangers and strangers like Lyon. Even though they are in the same school. After all, with Lyon's wealth, it would be easy to find professional accountant services at Metropol.

"Hhmmm ... I see. Just so you know, that your situation is not in a position to refuse. I will file a complaint with the cafe manager and the next second you could be fired." Lyon said with conviction.

"So you threatened?" argued Petra was fed up with Lyon's arbitrary and strange treatment. Even Petra could no longer be nice to Lyon by calling him sir, a code of ethics for waiters to respect cafe customers.

"Yes, true." Said Lyon seriously.

"You ... are something huh," Petra growled, trying to control himself.

Petra returned to his seat. Arranging his breath slowly and looking at Lyon with full of annoyance that Petra could not hide any longer.

"Or you would prefer me to follow you home. Oh ... there is a suitable word. Stalker. You who are nothing would be happy if there was a stalker like me, right?" babbling Lyon returned with a sly smile.

"So ... what financial statements do you mean by that?" Petra sighed in a low voice. Almost inaudible.

Today, one thing that Petra can learn from what happened to Petra is that no matter how much and no matter how much he tries to avoid calamity, he will end up coming, at any cost.
