With power, no one would be able to harm him nor the people that are dear to him. He can also enjoy a bountiful life with little to no worries
Most people would definitely want to have as much power as they can if that is possible
However, even though Targan is already the most powerful member in the clan and the clan itself is already strong enough to the point that almost no one would be able to defeat them, Targan still wants more
Even if Calter were to become the head of the clan, it's not like he would suddenly hurt Targan
Calter doesn't even need Targan to treat him with love and care. The very least he wants was for Targan to not harm him nor Kence
Even if Calter became the head, it's not like Targan wouldn't have any say in the clan matters anymore
