It wasn't even a whole day when the government of the four countries announced the existence of people that can wield supernatural powers yet more people like them already appeared
More and more ripples spread into the whole world and Kence suddenly felt something changing inside him
His body starts to glow with a dim blue light
"K-Kence?" Calter called out after seeing the fantasy-like aura that Kence's body is emanating

Calter ignored the abnormality in Kence's first and dragged the latter away

The ten have snake-like scales in their cheeks, arms, and legs. Their bodies were unusually very pale as if they didn't belong to a human
Their eyes were also dilated which is blood-red in color. A long snake-like tongue can be seen from their open jaws slithering as if they were alive
"Ssss! We are fortunate! We just got out of that horrible prison yet we already encountered a human with a lot of mana. The heavens must have favored us!" The tallest of the ten commented and the others with him agreed
Calter's eyes flashed with a dangerous light as he covered Kence with his body
"What are you? What do you want from us?" Calter can feel that these ten are no ordinary people. They are not even humans but they were extremely dangerous
It was also not hard to see that these monster looking people have bad ideas brewing in their head
"Ssss! Are you that man's lover? Hehehe, don't worry. We will just suck his mana filled body until he dies" one of the snake men answered with joy in his tone
It was like he just didn't mention killing someone
Calter ignored the other words that snake said and only focuses on the part where they planned to kill Kence
Those words were more than enough to ignite Calter's murderous intent causing his pheromones to spread all around him
Everyone that Calter ever encountered before was dominated by his strong and dominant pheromones. He can easily make people lose their fighting ability
However, the snake people around him merely snorted and one of them even mocked him
"Ssss. What's with this incomplete spiritual pressure? Do you think something like this is enough to scare us?" The snake man asked and he also releases something similar to pheromones but also different
It has the same feels of the humans' pheromone but when Calter felt it, he instinctively feel that this is the true state of pheromones
The spiritual pressure wrapped on every corner of Calter's body. The pressure caused him to be unable to move his body properly. It was like he was carrying a whole mountain in his back
"Sssss watch us kill your lover in front of you!"
The snake man with the strongest aura reached out with his right arm. His arm then suddenly turned into a long snake that reaches Kence
Kence tried to dodge but his awakening was not a pleasant experience. It filled his body with pain and he was not able to move his body as he pleases
As Calter sees the danger advancing towards his man, his heart rate sped up and he managed to break free from the spiritual pressure's influence
In a speed that even Calter doesn't know he has, he moved his arms and uses his hands to tightly grab the man's long snake arm
Calter's hold on the snake arm has more than enough power to bend metals. He was gripping it too tightly to the point that veins were popping on his long slender arms. Some of his nails were even cracked but he ignored his own pain

Due to the strenght Calter exerted in his arm, he managed to injure the snake arm causing the snake man to be enraged
He never thought that a human that lived in a world without mana would harm him like this
The snake man's pride was hurt and his snake arm changed its target
This time, the snake arm wrapped around Calter's waist. Calter tried removing and punching it but the snake arm wouldn't budge
Before Calter can even break free, his body was already heavily smashed in the ground

The snake man wasn't even satisfied at Calter's current state as he continued smashing Calter's body heavily
