Jason stared at his wife while she made breakfast.
She was on the phone at the same time with his head of marketing, Elena. He watched the way she giggled over the phone while she brought out the tea cups and the bread.
She wore the skimpy grown she wore the first day she entered his house as his wife. Mckenna had losed her braids yesterday and her beautiful black hair fell softly on her shoulders.
Jason watched her from the doorway he stood and he wondered at the little things he noticed when he was actually paying attention. like the fact that she never takes off the bracelet he got her on her birthday or the fact that she finds it difficult to wear her slippers in the house.
And that Mckenna occasionally drift off in her Dreamworld. He sometimes wonders what she daydreams about.
Mckenna switched on the electric kettle as she chatted heartily over the phone.
