Jeremiah pulled out his sword in time, blocking the blow with his blade while his eyes remained still upon Nesrin. His free hand emitted a faint smoke.
"Pardon me, your majesty,"
Nesrin watched her hand with bewildered eyes, there were bruises from fire and the crystal had fallen on the ground long ago.
[Take the crystal back] Asteria exclaimed, [We can not go anywhere without it]
"That is fatal!" Jeremiah stopped Nesrin before she can take a single step.
She hesitated and glanced at Asteria in confusion. Indeed the crystal weighed her down heavily but she never thought that it could be harmful. She had read many instances where Ophelia easily used magical abilities.
Perhaps that was the difference between her and the protagonist.
The crystal was almost stepped upon by the two fighting men and Nesrin couldn't proceed despite her desire to do so.
