When Tyke busted Clement out to everyone there all of the sudden, Seraphine and Eric came to a standstill.
While she was thrown into utter shock at what she just heard, he was stunned for a moment before he went straight back to being furious. He picked up his pace and reached her at last. She didn't even have enough time to take a look at her childhood friend again as he suddenly pulled her to him and locked her in his arms.
Seraphine then feels Eric restraining her from turning around to Clement.
And when she heard him unsheathing his sword, she got to realize why.
"So, it was you, after all. Oh, I should have known..." Eric growled, taunting the Master Thief with his bloodshot, deadly glare and the glinting, sharp edge of his sword.
"Long time no see, Clement. Been eight years, hasn't it?"
"Indeed, it has..." Clement scoffed, returning the Crown Prince's death stare with a provocative smirk.
