Saying the last that had to be said tonight, Eric leans in closer to Seraphine, making her back away for a bit in surprise.
He peers down at her with his sharp-edged, penetrating gaze, his glinting orbs of sapphires piercing deep through her. She can tell that he's mad, and she knows it's because she has gone out without his permission. Or forget about even getting his permission - she went against his order.
Seraphine doesn't know what to do anymore. She doesn't know how she'll get through Eric at this rate.
But that's until he inched his face closer to hers and kissed her forehead out of nowhere, catching her off guard.
"Y-Y-Your Highness...?" she stammered out, unsure if this was the right time for something like this.
