As soon as Seraphine remembered the flashback she had last night, she went frozen still and fell silent in utter nonplus.
She has no idea what has gotten into her out of nowhere. She doesn't know why this keeps on happening. She badly wanted to recall everything, but right when she finally began regaining her missing memories little by little, she found herself feeling more distraught and perturbed than ever.
For some reason, Seraphine can tell that what she lost is both a blessing and a curse.
"Milady, you've turned pale..." Eric called out to her and returned to the side of her bed, stealing back her attention.
"Seriously, what's wrong? Please, tell me if you're really feeling unwell."
He looks so concerned that she feels guilty for not saying anything.
