A helpless sigh escaped him as he watched the person beside him yawn. Lu Xun watched as the girl raised her head to look at him and laughed upon seeing the tears in her eyes.
"Tired?"
Song Xing Xing quickly shook her head. "Not tired." She blinked her eyes at him a few times to prove that she was still awake.
Lu Xun pulled her head to lean in his embrace. "Just take a nap if you're tired. I'll wake you up when the time comes."
"No. I'm still okay." However, she did not reject him but continued to lean her head on his chest and snuggled comfortably in his embrace.
A while later, someone knocked on the door. Song Xing Xing sat up straight in time as Zhang Yu Han entered. The man gave the couple a lookover before he turned to Lu Xun.
"She's here."
Lu Xun's expression changed as he heard his friend's words. "Un. I know. I'll come out soon."
Zhang Yu Han turned around, leaving the couple behind.
