Charles's hand froze in the middle air. His entire face started getting pale just with one name which suddenly made Javier alerted.
The whiteness on his face was spreading, and he could feel his brother losing his calm.
Despite everything happening with him, Charles tried to remain as calm as possible. He closed his eyes for a mere second and opened them again, pooping almost fine.
"She is good... I believe. What can you expect from someone like me…? Hah, she is already abroad with her child." The tone added up more tension.
He was stressed, or how that hurt deeply, either mentally or emotionally.
"So, you both broke up already?" Javier asked with quite a surprising tone. As long as he remembered these two were still together despite their odds. "Our family won't have agreed and you know this. So, her family arranged a guy for her and she married him and has a child. But later on, heard her husband died or they divorced, I don't know."
