Things simply broke down when everyone had anticipated Javier's body to release some blood after the gunshots were heard.
However, it was totally opposite to what they all had expected.
In front of their sight, Jennifer's shoulders were badly wounded where she had ended up coming in front of Javier's body, even from a far distance.
Standing in the middle of the entire space, she could feel the sharp pain rising up to her brain from where it was hard to escape.
Her mind was suddenly blank with nothing coming into her ears. She knew tons of voices were present there, yet her ears were all numb.
The pain was hard to ignore where her body was on the edge of giving up...her will had already loosened. "Javier...'
Her eyes were lingering at her husband who was shocked. More likely to say, his body was frozen to the place where he found this to be but a nightmare being played.
