With her curiosity at its peak, Veronica's lips were formed into a straight line before she got up from the bed and walked to the other side of the bed.
Picking up Max's mobile phone, she unlocked it with her fingerprint and saw that there wasn't anyone but a total of ten messages!
It alarmed her, more than her wits. She couldn't imagine who would message him so late? Was this his father?
Veronica had no intention to actually have a peak but her heart was already alarming her. With her shaky hands, Veronica managed to overcome her emotions before she opened the messages.
What she came across was an unknown number. However, the messages had caught her eyes where she had to cover her mouth, 'WHO the hell is this person?'
UNKNOWN- When are you coming back home?
UNKNOWN- I'm waiting for you, will you not come tonight as well?
UNKNOWN- Answer me MAX!
