"Y-you mean to say cops are here?" It was Amara who inquired with her mind going numb with the words.
She could feel her entire world collapsing at this point just by a few phrases.
In response to her words, Butler nodded his head with his eyes too bulging out. "I mean what I'm saying , Mistress. They are here.. police …"
"Oh God.. Lucas...." Amara rotated her head to gaze at her son. He was also showered with disbelief. For a few minutes, Lucas too didn't move.
