The words startled Javier as he couldn't proceed with what he heard. It made his mind spin around before he pulled himself out of the daze as he stared at the doctor "S-She is pregnant? With twins?"
"Indeed she is. But from your looks, I believe that you weren't aware of her pregnancy." the doctor made a comment on observing how Javier reacted to her words right now. He was in total disguise, unable for him to find this to be any truth to his ears.
It was too good to be true in his eyes but that didn't stop him from proclaiming, "Can I meet her now?"
To this, the lady doctor allowed Javier from meeting Jennifer who was already in better condition now. For a while, Javier simply stood outside of the door of the private room that was entirely designated for Jennifer. She lay on the bed inside and he viewed her from the small window available for him through the door.
