Charles's question left Javier to stay silent. He had no intent to reveal what he was thinking as silence worked as a better conveyor to Charles, who understood the meaning behind his words.
"So, indeed it's her. How can I not feel suspicious of her?" Charles's speech only radiated his frustration. He was almost on the edge of losing his mind.
"But I think this isn't all you should know." Javier said. "You should know more than that. There is much more than what you can actually imagine in your wildest dream. She is related to them and in depth."
"What worse can happen now?" Charles couldn't help but ask. However, his other hand went forward to grab the pack of cigarettes and brought one of them out, ready for a smoke. However, Javier was already irritated and he instantly snatched it from Charles's hand and threw it on the ground.
