THE ROOM IS COMPLETELY SILENT FOR THE FIRST FEW SECONDS BEFORE BRADY BEGINS COMPLAINING AGAIN.
"I went with mum and dad to the bus station and when I got back from school, you were nowhere to be found so I thought you were out hanging with friends, after all you are already a full-grown adult; you can do whatever you want with your time and whenever you want." He begins explaining while he clutches his chest like it hurts to speak, "But then, 11pm hit and you weren't home. I thought you were working night shifts so I texted you to be safe," He chuckles at his words, "Stupid me. I never knew you had abandoned me then."
"Brady…" She calls but he continues speaking.
"The next morning you weren't back. You didn't read my texts or return my calls and then, I heard that about a hundred people at your school died in a day like what the fuck? and—" He scrunches up his face as tears roll down his bruised cheeks.
"It's not a hundred people." She rolls her eyes.
