A week had passed ever since the grand ceremony of public executions of the traitors in the pureblood faction. It had been the talk of the entire empire and the scenes of merciless killings were displayed to the public on squares even now.
Let it be a grown-up man or a child.. Most of the populace had already seen it. Although the narrative was that these traitors tried to thwart away the ruling powers and joined hands with enemies to kill the future generations.. Not many knew exactly which enemy they were talking about.
Not everyone in the empire had that much of free time to learn the history or enmity of these factions. Their world didn't revolve around the power struggle between the top 1%.
