After dinner Berengar had taken a brief bath before getting dressed in his silk pajamas. Just when he was about to enjoy his evening with his four wives, Henrietta approached him in her nightgown. She had a sleepy expression on her face, evidently she had drank too much the night before. With a slight tug on his sleeve she asked with a childish expression on her doll-like face.
"Big brother, will you read me a bed-time story?"
Berengar chuckled when he heard this, but nodded his head. After all, he could never deny his little sister whatever she desired. He grabbed hold of her and carried his little sister up the stairs to her room as if she were a princess. Now that he thought about it, she was indeed technically a princess. Thus, he had a smug smile on his face as he thought about his sister's prestigious position, resulting from his actions in this life.
