With the Golden Horde defeated, and the city of Constantinople under the direct authority of Prince Alexandros Palaiologos, the crisis which the Byzantine Empire was facing had ended quicker than it had come.
However, Alexandros was far from pleased with just the elimination of the Golden Horde's army, he would not rest until the barbarians were driven back into the lands from whence they came.
