It was afternoon. The blinding sun shone in his eyes.
Eric closed his eyes and laid there for a while until he could muster up some energy in his limbs. 'I should have picked some fruits…...' he thought, touching his sunken stomach.
'it's okay… adrenalin will last for a few minutes... I think. But then I have to find someone and ask for help.'
He sat up with difficulty. His whole back was covered in mud covering his torn clothes on the back.
As he stumbled around, he fell on something round. Picking up, Eric looked at the dusty, decaying apple.
Without a second thought, he bit into it and ate it all up.
With that bit of energy in his body, he slowly started to crawl.
His legs were fucked up. walking is close to impossible right now. All he could do was crawl around like a babe. Hard rocks dug into his knees cutting them.
