The young man in black, combed through his hair in frustration. His hands gently played with one of the cranes. 'Someone with consciousness was kept in this small place with no food. It would have felt like hell.'
"Boss, agent Yuri is online," Coulson handed a small communicator to him and ran back to his work.
Sighing, Kai Alder sat up. He walked over to a secluded area and placed a small communicator on the table. A projection popped out.
"Agent Kai Alder, i believe you have good news for us," an older looking man whispered whist combing through his long white beard.
"Agent Yuri," Kai bowed. "We have successfully infiltrated their base and captured all the illegally trafficked souls,"
The man on the projector sighed. "Poor things these souls were forcefully removed from the world, memory wiped and made to work on such a gruesome process..."
"I believe this must have been going on for almost hundred star port years. But thankfully sir the ones who have captured can still be salvaged. They can get a new life." Kai glanced at the small crane he picked up unconsciously.
"Yes, that's all that matters."
"I have another thing to report." Kai peered at the screen. His black eyes showed a kind of storm in them.
The older man paused, grooming his beard. "What is it?"
"I believe one of the systems working here had consciousness....." he held the crane up. "That system managed to escape. I am searching reports on him and I will let you know about his capture."
"Wait.. You said a system had consciousness? That is completely impossible. Their memories were wiped and programmed before they were thrown into that micro realm to work.
Kai sighed loudly. "I believe this one did." He twirled the little crane in his hand. "What is the procedure for this, sir?"
"If he had consciousness, he is either the one who fully controlled this notorious gang or.... he must be a powerful soul who was kidnapped by accident. Irrespective, capture him and bring him back. We can learn valuable information about the organisation from him,"
"Yes, sir." Kai disconnected the call. Soon his eyes went cold. "I asked for info on this system.." he glanced back at his trembling subordinates.
"S—sir..... We are rebooting the management systems here. We might be able to get info soon.."
"I expect it to be soon.."
Soon after ten minutes, he got the report he wanted.
Kai stood in front of the projection.
"Sir, his system id is 101 he is a part of the third generation of systems. His real name is Zhu Kang from the mortal world 677 code name: earth." Kai opened the screen.
A photo popped up of a young man in his mid twenties.
"He was said to be brain dead after a fatal accident in the tech company he was working in."
Another photo of the man in his dead bed was projected.
Kai peered at the image intently... "Agent Myers, can you tract the transmission signal. We need to know where he is at this moment,"
"Yes sir, I am already on it," the man swiftly typed something and a huge map popped out of the universe. Like small clusters of dust, all the small stars and planets were displayed.
Kai walked close and started to zoom in with his finger. The red tracker moved slowly towards the realm they were every familiar with.
"He is on earth." He glanced at his subordinates. "But where on earth? What time frame did he go to?"
"Oh, sir... the transmission room that system used was very old and had glitches. Even if I track the location, I won't be able to determine the timeline he went to."
Kai sighed loudly. "Use your brain and get me Intel fast," he said and started to suit up.
"S—sir.... are you personally?..."
Kai glared at him. "This system is something unique the headquarters might want to research on him. Only I am capable of capturing him here without any damage to his soul."
He geared up his guns and well as his soul capturers.

"Coulson, don't stutter..." Kai wore his knee pads and glanced at him.
"Sir, you can't go in there as is."
"What do you mean?" Kai sat up, glancing at his two trusted subordinates. "Coulson, Myers, I need explanations and answers,"
Coulson stood stiffly, but he stepped forward. "The portal that the system escaped through is too narrow. With a corporal body, it is impossible to pass though,"
"You are saying that I would have to go there as a soul." Kai's eyes went even darker after this. A strong force swept through the small room, making them all shiver.
"Y—yes sir...."
Sighing, Kai put down his gun. "If I go there without my soul capturer, how do you expect me to capture that soul Coulson?"
"We have found a way to solve that. Since you are going into that realm without a corporal body, you won't have any of our weapons, but you soul itself can work as a soul capture. All you have to do is leave the world with him. If your souls are connected, you will reach here safely," Myers suggested all of a sudden.
Kai tossed down the paper crane, letting it flutter to the ground. "You want me to bind my soul to an unknown soul?"

'Oh my god the demon is angry again. Shit, why did you even suggest that,' Coulson winked to Myers.
Myers just shrugged. 'I was suggesting the only way, okay.'
Kai peered at them all until they all broke down into cold sweat. "I better get a raise after this,"
Myers swiftly move and brought out the transmigration machine. "I have to choose an appropriate a body for you to enter."
