Chapter 22 - Chapter 22 - Perpetrator

A loud, boastful laughter woke him up. Aaron's eyes snapped open. He vigilantly glancing around.

"Uncle, would you look at that pitiful state? Hahahah.." Altren rolled over laughing.

He could not understand why he was reacting so.

"What are you doing in my house?" he groaned loudly, shielding his eyes from the bright light from his windows.

"Well, I came here to bid you farewell but the sight I saw... mnn hmm... what a sight..."

"What sight?" Aaron frowned, sitting up. He was still wearing his three-piece suit. It was crumbled and wrinkled everywhere.

But the important issue was.... he still had a tent. He swiftly covered it up with the bed sheets.

"It's natural,"

"Not that..." Altren roared in laughter.

He hurriedly patted down few huge wrinkles but a weird white crusty substance fell off his hands.

"What the hell..." he glanced at his open palm. "What did you do this time, Altren?! I really don't appreciate waking up with whipping cream on my face again,"

"me?," Altren giggled, sitting down at the edge of the bed after careful inspection. "I should be asking what 'you' did, uncle,"

"What did I do?" he got down and hurriedly wiped his hands off.

"oh you are destroying DNA sample."

Aaron froze. "What?"

"That's someone's jizz for sure.... you my darling uncle, got served." Smirking widely, he stood up and glanced around. "I hope you know who you slept with, at least. That guy really did a number on your hand."

Aaron's eyes turned a blinding shade of golden.

"Anddddd that is my cue to leave. Bye uncle~"

Aaron swiftly ran to his bathroom and washed his hands again and again until no traces were found. 'I need to find out who that was,'

After that woman drugged him, everything was hazy. He could not even remember how he got away from her clutches.

Only one thing can give him answers

"CCTV," he took the elevator down to the ground floor to the security office. Without even knocking, he barged in.

"s-sir..." a flustered security man glanced his way. He had a half-spilled coffee cup in his hands.

"Go clean yourself up. I need to check something,"

"Thank you, sir," the man bowed and left him alone in the room.

Aaron casually sat down on the chair and started to watch yesterday's CCTV. Right after meeting that red-haired woman Claire, some of the CCTV started to glitch. It was not a random glitch.

Even the CCTV on the way to the elevator started to get grainy and he could barely see anything.

He singled out the elevator's camera, but even that had fully gone out.

Sighing, he just sat there. He did not have any CCTV in his house because it usually resulted in some women hacking his systems. But that decision of his led to this problem.

"There is nothing left to do."

He had no other option but to forget about that unfortunate event for now.

'but that person must have been scotched really bad....'

He for one, knew that his powers usually go haywire every time he gets horny. His suits were specially made to withstand the heat.

The person who assaulted him definitely must have had their dick burned off.

Walking out the door, he noticed someone familiar. It was one of that guy's friends. He was busy calling someone with a deep frown on his face.

'None of my concern....'

But his legs led him closer to the young man's path.

"Um... you okay, Kang? You kind of didn't return to the room.... did I make you uncomfortable?" the young man whispered.

His keen ears caught those words. 'Didn't return to the room? They were staying in the same room? So if he did not sleep there, where did he stay.....'

His imagination took over after that. So many scenarios came to mind.

Gritting his teeth, Aaron silently stood in that guy's path.

"Excuse me..." he walked past him.

"Wait,"

"Yes?" the young man just raised a brow.

"You.... you work here, right? What about the other bartenders yesterday? Do they also work here? Give me his contact details,"

The young man frowned. "I'll talk to you later." he cut the call and gave him his undivided attention. "Sir, I don't know who you are talking about, but I can't reveal the information of any other bartenders. It's part of the policy,"

The man walked away without waiting.

It pissed him off beyond comparison to think that they stayed together... his eyes slightly glowed golden. He closed it tight, controlling his surging heated energy.

"I-I don't care anyway....," Aaron walked away. In the lobby, he noticed Altren just standing there gaping at his phone.

'or I can blackmail his number out of him..'

With raised determination, he walked closer to Altren and peaked in. His nephew was looking at a photo of some bulky guy with his back facing the camera. That person was also wearing an apron.

"So, this is your type?"

"Ahhh!" screaming Altren quickly hid the phone. "Uncle, you should not violate my privacy like that,"

"I should tell that to you when you barged into my room early morning and woke me up,"

Altren refused to look him in the eyes. Even his cheeks were slightly dusted pink. "I'll be leaving now!"

"Wait!" he dragged him back by his coat. "I need someone's contact number,"

"Who?" Altren frowned.

"Your friend that you dropped off that day,"

"Friend? That rat? Che, I don't even want to talk about him," he grumbled and rushed out of the lobby.

"Wait.... hey...."

Aaron sighed loudly. "This kid... seriously. What am I going to do with him...."

He had no other way but to momentarily give up on getting that young guy's number and concentrate on finding last night's perpetrator.
