Haolei sat in the waiting room holding his head tightly. It had been an hour or so after the doctor gave him the update but till now they haven't allowed him to meet Eric. They still keep him in the ICU.
He did not know what to do.
A figure sat down next to him and handed him a hot cup of coffee. "I'm sorry,"
Haolei silently took the coffee from him. "I'm sorry for going off on you. It was not your fault. It was me. I didn't warn you not to tell Eric. he… he had been so emotional these days. just yesterday we came for a check-up cuz he collapsed. he is a delicate child." He sipped the hot coffee. It was his favorite toffee flavor.
This brought a smile to his lips.
"don't worry he will be fine."
"I know,"
"Oh, here you are." A soft voice called out to them. A young girl in school uniform stood three with a smile.
