"It is quite a mental stress, especially for kids," Doctor Dimitri said. "In Sir Calix's case, it was not a good situation as well, I believe. It should not be."
"It was not, but I think my mental state was better than most people of my age," Calix said. "What about Doctor Dimitri? You also saw two wars with your own eyes as a kid. How did it affect you?"
"Not much. I did not feel much of a thing out of ordinary, to be honest," he said in his usual calm voice.
