"My dear child no, things are going perfectly fine," he said then she sighed,
"I know you love being chief and if you are going to step down then only one person can be the new chief and that is Dorious, he has worked hard and for many years father" she replied,
'I don't get it why are you arguing with me?" he asked,
'Because you are being unfair father" she responded then he looked at her sternly and she jumped,
'Do not talk to me in that tone and i am making the right decision" he said,
'Father he has only been here a few years, we hardly know anything about him" she replied,
'We know enough, his parents were killed by those demons lurking in the world, werewolves" he said,
'We don't know that" she replied,
'Enough" he shouted and she jumped in fear then bowed her head.
'My decision remains the same, now come and enjoy your party" he said then walked out of the house and left.
"How do I make these people understand what I am saying?" she asked herself,
"I am going to the sanctuary," she said to herself then grabbed her sword and walked to the sanctuary which was up the mountain and behind the waterfall.
Upon arriving at the waterfall she walked carefully and arrived behind it then the stone door opened and she entered the sanctuary in which the orb was surrounded by the lanterns.
"You know this is all to protect you, keep you safe, and why?, even I don't know," she said to the orb as she sat down on the rock bench.
The orb was a mixture of different colors and it was glowing brightly as the girl stared at it.
"What are you doing here cuz?" Dorious asked as he came in and she sighed,
'Hey, I just wanted to relax and think a little" she responded,
"You are lying, I know you a little too good cousin," he said and she smiled,
'Why aren't you at the party?" she asked,
"It's boring, your future husband is enjoying though" he responded as she heard voices coming from the orb but ignored it.
"In here" she heard someone said with the clanging of swords.
"Come here, we were not supposed to be here at night," she said as she grabbed onto her cousin and they hid behind the wall as a few men came into the sanctuary.
"Cousin no one would come here this late without the chief's permission," he said,
'I know, relax" she replied as she peeked and saw it was Evan and a few men in armor.
"It's Evan," she said,
'What is he doing here?" Dorious asked and Evan heard the echo of voices.
"Who's there?" he asked as the guys in armor walked around the cave and then the two came out.
'Evan" she said then he smiled,
"You are not supposed to be here this late" Evan said as they went to him.
"Yeah and that referees to you too Evan" Dorious replied,
'I got permission to take the orb to the party" he said then the two left staring at him,
"What?" she asked,
"Your father wanted everyone to have a look at it since they were curious" he responded,
"He could have asked me why would trust it in a stranger's hand? I am the guardian," she said,
'So do you think I am lying?" Evan asked and she sighed,
"No" she responded with her head down and he smiled wickedly.
"Good," he said as he was about to touch the orb then the orb released a flush of wind that sent the guys in armor and Evan flying.
"Oh no," she said then pulled out her sword and pointed it at them as they stood up.
"What are you doing?" Evan asked,
"Only people with permission can touch the orb, have you forgotten that?" she asked then he laughed,
'I can get it without permission" he responded,
"My father did not ask you for it did he?" she asked,
'No he did not" he responded then Dorious gasped.
"You are a traitor" she shouted,
'Keep your voice down madam" he shouted back at her and she jumped in fear of him as he walked towards them.
"I will kill you if you get any closer," she said then he stopped walking and his eyes started to glow red as he smiled and she swallowed deeply.
"You cannot hurt a hair on my head sweetheart" he replied, as he disappeared then reappeared beside her and she screamed as he grabbed onto her and snatched the sword from her hand.
"You know I won't mind having you as my wife," he said as he sniffed her and tears came to her eyes as he passed his hand on her waist and squeezed her butt then Dorious got angry and chopped one of the man's heads off and Evan looked at him with anger as the other men grabbed onto Dorious.
"You would make any man happy," he said then she elbowed him in the stomach and she grabbed her sword then struck him on the hand and he looked at her with his eyes glowing as she tried to grab the orb but he grabbed her by the hair and threw her into the wall.
"You know I wouldn't have to hurt you if you just stay out of my way and give me what I want," he said as she coughed up blood and he grabbed her by the neck as she bled and lifted her up in the air.
After seeing her in that state Dorious fought off the men but apparently, they were not normal and one of them passed the sword through his stomach and he fell to the floor on his knees as she struggled then she kicked Evan and he dropped her then she fell to the ground and he laughed.
"Give me what I want and I will spare his life: Evan said as his men beat Dorious and she started crying.
"Please let him go I will give you want you want," she said as she grabbed onto Evan's leg then he kicked her in the stomach and she laid lifeless on the ground while bleeding.
