As soon as Marcel left, he ordered ginger tea to be brought up for Arianna. He claimed to have researched and found out ginger is a wonder herb that can effectively ease menstrual cramps. Arianna accepted the drink with a smile on her face. At this rate, Marcel would spoil her rotten and though she wanted to move around, she decided to obey his instructions for once.
With what happened lately, Arianna knew that he had a lot to clean up, but then, he had been busy taking care of her and pushing his duty aside. Though he wouldn't say it, Marcel was concerned about her safety, with how his father had tried to kill her the last time.
Marcel wanted her where he could keep his eyes on her and Arianna sure hoped it didn't last for long. His intention might be noble but she would go crazy cooped up all day. Not to mention that Mimi would be leaving soon and she would be all by herself again.
