Derek waited outside Maya's door, checking his brown leather watch at intervals, then pacing back and forth the distance covered by the door, for the umpteenth time. He wondered what was taking his cousin so long to dress up.
"Why do girls take much time to dress up?" He mumbled to himself, checking his watch again after some minutes had passed. He was getting impatient already, not because he was actually that eager to attend his cousin, Curtis' birthday; no, not at all. He just had a scheduled meeting with Leo.
