Victor, whose throat was parched due to not drinking water for the whole day, swallowed hard to wet his throat.
"Hello!" He peered at the entrance, hoping that someone would walk in and hand him a bottle of water. He breathed heavily in a bit of annoyance and the urge to break free overwhelmed him. However, he dismissed the thought as he knew that it was useless. Trying to free himself would do nothing more than hurt his bones.
Familiar footsteps resounded, and none other than Amanda walked in with a smirk hanging on her lips. "Did you call for me?"
Victor stared at her and a low breath fled from his nose. "Can you get me some water? My throat hurts." He asked, but Amanda simply shook her head. "No." She smiled haughtily, and Victor's face tightened in anger. "What do you mean by no? I haven't drunk throughout the whole day and my throat feels so fucking dry!" He glared at her, and Amanda chuckled, her right brow arched in arrogance.
