Shawn sat on the balcony of the mansion with Ileus, who was hurriedly sipping his coffee.
His phone abruptly rang, prompting him to pull it out of the pocket of his jacket. He immediately answered, seeing that it was his mum. "Hello, mum."
[I've missed you, son.]
"I miss you too, mum. You sound a little bit excited. Did something great happen?" He inquired upon hearing his mum's enthusiastic tone.
[Yes, something good has happened, or so I think.]
"Hmm...what's that?"
[I, uh, went to speak to your father today and I invited him out to a family eat-out]
"What!" Completely stunned, Shawna's eyes blinked furiously, and Ileus turned his head to glance at him with a raised brow.
[Relax... he agreed to come. The talking went quite smoothly, unlike what I imagined.] A low sigh exited Mrs. Robert's mouth, and her lips curled up into a smile.
"For real? You're not joking with me, are you?" Shawn, unable to believe it, asked.
