Within his room, Adrik sat at the table, neatly dressed in white clothes and looking at his reflection in the mirror as Leia gently brushed his hair.
"How do you feel now?" Leia abruptly asked, and he looked at her through the mirror. "Like a whole new person. I feel different," he replied, and she smiled warmly at him. "I say you feel free. No more curses, scars, or even prohibitions on what you want to do with your hair. There is no other word fitter than free."
She said, and placed a swift kiss on his head.
Adrik chuckled softly, and a sudden cynical breath exited his nose. "It's all over," he said to her, and she nodded before leaning down and hugging him tightly. "Gosh, I missed you!" She nuzzled his neck, and Adrik hugged her even more tightly. "I missed you too, little wife."
