She asked, and Leon turned to look at her with a dumbstruck expression on his face. "What do you mean?" I asked because this staircase is ridiculously long. " He arched his brow at her, and Arena shook her head at him.
"You shouldn't complain about everything." She slightly smiled at him and they continued up the stairs.
They finally arrived at the end, and Arena led them through the first room that came into view.
"Welcome." A female voice suddenly resounded within the room, and Leon and Layana quickly glanced around to see where the female voice came from.
"Mother," Arena said, startling the two and causing them to turn and look at her.
"What? Why are you staring at me? " She questioned them with a little bit of frown on her face, and when the two uttered not a single word due to speechlessness, she averted her gaze from them.
