Lu Yizhou's eyes abruptly snapped open and he shot up sitting, there was none of the drowsiness in his alert silver eyes. Dr. Feng, however, pressed his shoulders back down and told him in a firm voice, "Stay here! I will go and see what happens." He did not give Lu Yizhou any chance to refute and immediately turned away to rush toward the source of the voice – Zachary.
Even though Dr. Feng looked calm on the outside, his heart was rapidly sinking in dread. What happened? What the hell could have happened in this place? Had the enemies found their location and chased them all the way here?! No, it couldn't be!
He practically flew down the stairs, crossed the living room and slammed Zachary's room open, his breathing harsh and uneven. "Zachary…?!"
