Chapter 12 - PINK RABBIT XUE TIAN

Oppa? The strange man suddenly called him using a foreign word, and Wen Xiang didn't even know the meaning of the word.

"What did you call me just now?" The taller man questioned the shorter one dumbly.

Meanwhile, the shorter man also looked confused when he heard the clueless question. "Huh? Girls usually called Korean men 'Oppa,' and I just copied them. Did I use the wrong word?" He asked back while tilting his head innocently.

Wen Xiang looked confused too right now. 'How come I know whether you used a wrong word or not? I don't know Korean at all.'

His lie earlier was stupid, and now he was perplexed because of his stupid lie. Perhaps he needed to tell the truth to end the misunderstanding.

"Listen. Actually, I'm not a—"

"I know you are an Oppa, and you can stay in my house if you want to!"

Wen Xiang couldn't even finish his clarification because the man suddenly cut it without mercy.

It was the first time someone dared to cut his speech, and he glared at the man with his dark eyes. However, the man in pink didn't seem to notice his glare and was still smiling at him.

But, Wen Xiang didn't immediately reply as he considered the man's offer. He indeed had nowhere to stay in this city, and he needed a place to live. He could live in a hotel, but he knew that it was not a good idea.

His name would be recorded in the hotel, and if someone came to ask about him, the hotel surely would answer the question honestly. He would be found right away.

Staying in a house rather than a hotel was a good alternative for him.

"Hello, Oppa. Are you still here?"

Wen Xiang blinked his eyes because of a hand that suddenly waved in front of him and also a question that broke his reverie. He brought his eyes to the man again before nodding his head.

"I agree to live with you during my stay in this city," Wen Xiang finally decided.

Hearing the decision of the taller man, the man in pink squealed joyfully. Wen Xiang knew that he would need a lot of patience if he wanted to live with the weirdo.

"My place is so far from here, so we better head to my car now. Do you bring suitcases with you? I'll help you to bring them," the man spoke again, and Wen Xiang just realized one thing.

Wen Xiang didn't know the man's name until now, and the man didn't know his name either. They didn't know each other, but the pinked-haired man still trusted him and even asked him to live together.

'Is this man too innocent or too stupid?' Wen Xiang couldn't help but wonder.

"What's your name?" Wen Xiang decided to ask the other man when he could no longer hold back his curiosity.

The man in pink suddenly slapped his forehead because of the question. "I forgot to introduce myself to you!" He squealed energetically. "I'm Tian, and you can call me Tian," he added while stretching his hand for a handshake.

That was such a weird way to introduce a name to someone, and Wen Xiang frowned without any intention to grab the stretched hand. "Your name is only Tian? I thought you're Chinese?"

The man in pink, Tian, smiled bitterly before withdrawing his hand. Wen Xiang didn't accept his hand, so he could only retract his hand in embarrassment.

"I'm indeed a Chinese, and my real name is Xue Tian. However, people here usually called me Tian because that name sounded like an Indonesian's name. That's why you can call me Tian."

Wen Xiang could understand the situation now. Xue Tian was indeed Chinese just like his guess.

"I'm Wen Xiang," the black-haired man finally introduced his name too.

Hearing the introduction, Xue Tian immediately gasped before pointing a finger at the man. "You lied to me!" He exclaimed in Chinese all of a sudden.

The scene was quite ridiculous, but Wen Xiang managed to maintain a flat face. "It's you who's too dumb," he replied coldly.

Xue Tian pouted again while pulling his hand away from the taller man's face. However, in a blink of an eye, his face sparkled once again.

"But, it's good that we're both Chinese!" The shorter man energetically exclaimed. "We can share a lot of things, and we can be sworn brothers too!"

Wen Xiang's face was full of disgust upon hearing the pink-haired man's statement. They just met, but that man already trusted him to the point he wanted to be his sworn brother.

Wen Xiang wondered how a naive man like Xue Tian managed to live in this country without being scammed by bad people.

"Just stop the nonsense and show me the way to your car," Wen Xiang decided to ignore the shorter man's oddity as he shifted his gaze away from the man.

It was such a sunny day, and he had to squint his eyes when he looked outside of the airport.

"Alright!" Xue Tian replied joyfully. "Follow me to the parking lot. It's quite far from here!"

The man in pink jumped like a rabbit while leading the way to the parking lot. Wen Xiang stared at the man weirdly. He had never seen a rabbit in pink color, but when he saw Xue Tian, he could imagine what a rabbit would look like in pink color.

Pink hair, a pink hoodie, and a rabbit earring. Xue Tian was the human version of a pink rabbit.

They needed to walk for a long time to reach the parking lot, and a layer of sweat materialized on Wen Xiang's forehead. Indonesia didn't have Summer, but the hotness in the country was comparable to Summer.

Thankfully, the pink rabbit named Xue Tian finally stopped walking when they arrived at a car. Wen Xiang expected that the car would be in pink color, but he was so thankful because the car was a normal sedan in white.

The strange man signaled him to head to the passenger seat, but he suddenly stopped the man's movement with his voice.

"Wait!" Wen Xiang suddenly exclaimed, surprised Xue Tian as a result. "You know that I'm Chinese too, but you still used English to speak with me. Why did you do that?"

Wen Xiang just noticed the oddity when Xue Tian continued speaking in English even after he confirmed that he was Chinese too, and that was strange for him.

Meanwhile, Xue Tian smiled wistfully upon hearing the question. "It's because I've left China for so many years, and I can't speak Chinese anymore."
