"Professor Hemsworth, Can you please not make sounds while eating?" asked the very elegant and ladylike Professor Cara.
"What's the point of eating if you don't enjoy eating? I am loving those crunchy chips and this delicious hot chocolate. They are like heaven," Professor Hemsworth reasoned which might have sounded logical according to him.
"Still," saying this professor Cara turned towards a very focused-looking professor James who looked like he was doing the world's most important work.
He was watching a popular drama.
World's most important work. One thing is clear all of them are comedians in their ways. Well, maybe expect professor Mia who was peacefully sleeping.
Well, you see that's 2022's laboratory. Here those professors are trying to make a time machine.
*Cough, cough* Professor Cara is trying to make a time machine. Alora and her best friend, Sarah are trying to help them.
Alora is helping them by sitting and watching all those things and Sarah is helping them while playing a video game on her phone.
Welcome, to the 'Miracle Laboratory' where instead of finding miracles, you would find comedians and useless fellows!
Professor Cara looks like she wants to kill herself.
"Poor Professor Cara. Let me help her," Alora thought.
"Ma'am, how may I help you?" She asked her with a smile.
"Ohh, my sweet little girl, see how kind you are! All those professors are just killing their time and even though you are here to learn something from us, you are insisting on helping me. Alora, you are really sweet. Thank you but you can rest there," she sweetly rejected her help.
After hearing this, the other professors looked all sober. They all glared at professor Cara.
"Food is life and you should keep eating cause if you don't eat then you are going to miss out on the best part of life. Your life will lose its meaning," Professor Hemsworth said dramatically.
"Dramas, movies make our life more interesting. We can understand a lot of things from them. They give us lots of ideas," said professor James dramatically.
"And let's not forget sleep gives us energy and it calms our minds down. You guys see that I am only sleeping but I am actually restoring my energy," said Professor Mia.
"And I am here to learn new things," After saying this Sarah smiled innocently.
Professor Cara just shook her head with amusement dancing in her eyes.
"By the way, we have only three more weeks left for making the time machine. If we fail to do this in that given time then the contract would be given to any other group. We must hurry. The world's biggest company has donated money for this project. I heard that the CEO is cold and hates people who delay, " professor Cara said with worry in her eyes.
"I have also heard so. His name is also really powerful, Abe Ambrose. Many rumors are going on that he's so cold that the greatest people of the older generation fear him."
"Abe," Alora tasted the name on her tongue, and a smile formed on her face. She remembered that mysterious guy's kindness towards that little boy.
"Don't worry or frown, professor Cara, your blood pressure may rise or you may get wrinkles at this young age. I am sure that you don't want that," said a voice from behind.
They all turned around and saw professor Wills. The only professor besides professor Cara who is active and serious about his work.
He is a man in his late twenties. He is quite handsome with his green eyes, tan skin, and black hair. His height is around 6 and he has a decent amount of muscles in his body.
Even his personality is charming.
Ohhh! Forget to describe the other professors.
Professor Cara is a woman in her mid-twenties with tan skin, baby blue eyes, and blonde hair. Her height is around 5.8" and she is more on the skinny side. She is really beautiful.
Professor Mia is a woman in her early thirties with black hair, black eyes, and brown skin. She is the owner of a chubby and short body. She is really cute and her smile is contagious.
Professor Hemsworth is a man in his early thirties with his small baby blue eyes, short brown hair, and a height of around 6.3". He is quite lean.
Professor James is a man in his late twenties with brown eyes and hair. He is quite handsome. Not to forget Alora's best friend Sarah's Long-time crush!
She has been crushing on him since they started coming here to learn new things.
"I have to take stress professor Wills cause we have to-" she was cut off by Professor Wills.
" I know, I know. The contract would be given to any other group. Don't worry. All we have to do is work hard and we will complete our task before that. And for that, we have to start working right now, " said professor Wills with a big smile.
"Let's start doing our work," said Professor Mia.
And within a minute, all the professors turned serious and all their focus was on their given task, on making a time machine.
"Give me that thing, " said Professor Mia.
"Give me this, "said Professor Cara.
"Alora, bring this," said Professor Hemsworth.
"Sarah, go and get that, " said Professor James, and Sarah was on the ninth cloud.
"Alora, give us coffee, " said Professor Wills.
"Mines with extra sugar and cream, " said professor Hemsworth.
"Mines black with no sugar or cream, " said Professor James.
It was as if both professors were balancing the ingredients.
"I want a hot chocolate, " said Professor Mia.
"Please bring me chips, " said Professor Hemsworth.
Alora was continuously bringing them things they were asking for.
Around 6 pm, only about fifteen percent of the work was done and everyone was already tired.
"I want to go home and take a long warm bath. Then sleep on my cloud-like bed," said Professor Mia. She looked worn out.
They all bid each other goodbye and started going to their destinations.
Alora, Sarah, and Maya, their other best friend lives together. They were about to call out for a cab when Sarah's phone started ringing.
"Pick the phone up. Will you?" Alora asked her.
"Yes," said Sarah hurriedly finding her phone.
She picked the call up.
"Hello, What?" She shouted.
Her expression looked like someone told her that her mother cheated on her father with her boyfriend which is pretty much the worst experience someone can have.
And after she opened her mouth, Alora's reaction was the same as her.
"Man, how's that even possible?" is the only thing they were thinking of.
