Mariela's POV
Archer held my hand as we walked to the hallways going to the elevator, and I wanted to tell him he didn't need to hold my hand since there was no one around us. Still, it felt so wonderful to have his strong hand on my palm, and I allowed him to take it until we got inside the elevator, and I was shocked when we were going up instead of going down.
"Where are we going, Archer?" I asked, confused.
"To the rooftop," he calmly replied, and I wondered what we were going to do on the rooftop. Still, it seemed other things occupied his mind as of the moment, so I opted to remain silent, and my mouth agape when we reached the roof deck, and I found a chopper on the helipad ready to take off. I realized we would be riding a helicopter, and I could see a company logo on the chopper's body, and I was thinking so hard where I had seen the logo.
