I wanted to convince Ella to sit with us at our table, but I understand her sentiment, and I know my mom will never stop bothering her, and she will feel out of place. No matter how much I wanted to be with my girlfriend, in the end, I realized I needed to be considerate of her feelings, and I should understand she would not enjoy the party sitting in front of my parents. I walked t my mother while I could feel the heaviness of my heart.
