"Would you like to come inside my house, or do you want to go somewhere else?" Archer asked, and I couldn't believe he would be talking with me tenderly. I could no longer see the hardness on his face, and gone was the stern tone of his voice. And I wonder if my best friend could be right.
And if it is the case, I will treat my best friend to her favorite restaurant in Carzavilla the moment we get back to our hometown.
"Are you sure I can choose?" I asked.
"Of course, you are my visitor, and I will take you wherever you want to go," Archer responded and smiled at me, and this was the first time he gave me one of his sweetest smiles after we met again.
I realized it would be easy to deal with my ex if he is being strict, grumpy, and harsh to me because I don't feel guilty about acting in the same manner in dealing with him. But when he is like this, so sweet and gentle, I could tell I find it so hard to ignore him.
