Archer's POV
"What? Are you out of your fucking mind?" Kent asked as I collapsed on the sofa in his living room. It was past midnight, but I couldn't sleep after Ella had left my house, and I drove to his place since I badly needed someone I could talk to, and I knew he was always willing to listen to my problems.
"I couldn't think of anything that could make her stay, and I didn't expect that would be her reaction. We both know how much she loved money, Kent, so I gave her another option." I said as I caressed my cheek where Ella slapped me so hard that I thought my teeth would disarrange.
"And that is what you get for offering her five million dollars? A big slap, and she walked away feeling so pissed with you? And she fled instead of staying with you; good choice, Archer." My cousin replied, and I nodded my head, and he slowly sat across from me while looking at me with amusement on his face.
