Chapter 132: Pan meets Fire and Buddy
Pepper leaned in to make sure she heard every single word she was saying.
"I have been trying to act sophisticated since we met because you are a super star. I even used silly words like charmed and nice when addressing you" She then grabbed Scarlett's hand roughly. "It's a facade. I am neither sophisticated or nice, honey I am Jersey trash. So, I am going to warn you…kiss my husband again or feed my daughter alcohol and I will snap you like a twig. Do you understand me?"
Scarlett was quiet.
Pepper banged her free hand on the table.
"Do you understand me?!" She asked again.
"Mom!" Starr yelled
The voice behind Pepper startled her and then she saw the little smile on Scarlett's face…the little witch!
"Starr…I was just…" Pepper had no idea she was capable of stuttering until now in front of her kid.
