"I can't have another conversation about Pepper, right now Kurt. I have my daughter to take care of"
Asher stood in the living room in Hawaii. He needed to focus his attention on packing up and moving.
"You need to come down to Manhattan…you need to…"
"Bye Kurt!"
Asher hung up.
He exhaled. He was trying not to focus on his broken heart but he's little brother was becoming a thorn on his flesh with his continuous insistence that he goes after Pepper.
But what for? She made her choice.
When he had Lupita searched the bags Pepper left behind and found a one way ticket to Korea in her packed bag, he knew she was gone for good. There was no need to pour salt on the injury by going after her.
Asher exhaled and tried to gather his thoughts.
"Daddy, are you okay?"
He turned around and found Starr standing there.
