"No" Martha whispered and touched his cheek "But he came pretty damn close!"
Asher had never had the bubbling feeling rising in him before. Hearing his mother take his side was a nice change.
"Now, kiss your mother because Asher here is going to give you some cash and you will head straight to the Knight private airfield where a helicopter will be waiting to take you to New Jersey"
"You are sending me there today?" Kurt asked her.
"Yeah. So, get your act together and only then are you permitted to come home, do you understand me? I said, do you understand me?!"
Kurt nodded "Yes, Mother"
"Good. Call me when you land. Asher, please take me home"
Kurt watched as his mother entered the car and rolled the car window up. Asher looked at his brother for a few more seconds and shook his head.
