Asher smiled and took a gulp of coffee just to buy enough time to come up with a reply for her bizarre question.
"Admit it…I am a horrible wife"
"Do you really want me to answer that question sincerely?" Asher asked her with a raised eyebrow.
"Not really…I know I suck at it and to make up for it, I have planned what we shall call Pepper's day of fun. Just you and me… and the little brat if we must"
"You know one of these days you will stop calling our daughter a brat and you will even take offense when someone else does"
"Don't hold your breath" Pepper told him.
"So, what's on your list?" Asher asked as he dropped the cup he was holding on the tray and focused on his wife.
"Anything your heart desires, Ash" she told him with a flirtatious smile.
