Atlas woke up and looked at the person holding him. Instead of looking happy he seemed worried. He knows that Shuyuan is Yixin and that he somehow followed him or his soul-flakes were in this universe.
But that worries him because in the end when he is finally free he doesn't want to choose a universe to live in like Eden said, he wants to die for good. He doesn't want to stay immortal or enter the circle of reincarnation.
Going back to his universe at the time he left doesn't interest him either he had no one there. All his parents cared about was running the company and they didn't believe in him.
He was raised by strangers and he never felt love so what should he miss them? He just wants to be done with everything including life. If Er-Ge is a Whitlock like Cael he knows he'll find a way to wake up from slumber.
