"You look absolutely stunning, my dear!" Her mother's makeup artist and personal stylist clapped her hands as she watched her in the mirror, examining her makeup to check for any flaws.
Lilly Rose just realized where her mother got her habit of clapping her hands for anything she found exciting. She got it from Clarisse who has been working with her for about five years now.
"Your mother had been telling me about this wonderful gown of yours that she had chosen for you. And to be honest," she said, rolling her eyes. "I didn't quite believe her. Your mother can exaggerate things when it comes to you, like any mother to their daughters," she smiled apologetically.
She chuckled. "Don't worry. I won't tell mom that you didn't believe her when she told you that my gown looked exquisite on me."
