Tiffany shielded her eyes from the scorching sun by cupping her hand over her eyes because she forgot to bring her sunglasses. It was probably in her car and her car was parked a block away from the cafe.
She found this day a strange one. The man who approached her table and introduced himself as Echo had left ahead of her and he asked her to stay in the shop for another forty minutes, thus, she was suffering from the blistering sun. She exhaled an irritated breath and hurried her steps.
She tried to walk closer to the establishment to somehow hide from the sun but it was useless. She usually left the cafe around three or four in the afternoon if she had to do a long reading or sometimes just be there for an hour or so, just like today. She was planning to stay today for just an hour but because of Echo, she had to stay longer.
