"Lilly Rose!!"
Her chair clattered on the floor when she stood up too quickly to stand up and went to Lilly Rose's side when she slumped on her chair, losing consciousness.
People at the cafe had their eyes on their table but Susan ignored them. Her full attention was on her friend.
"Lilly Rose! Hey, girl!" She tapped Lilly Rose's left cheek which was cold to touch. Despite her panic, she still had the presence of mind not to slap Lilly Rose's face to wake her up.
"Is there anything we could do to help?"
Susan took her off Lilly Rose's face to look at the owner of the baritone voice. Her eyes met a pair of soft green eyes, staring at her with a mixture of curiosity and worry.
She still wanted to gaze at those green eyes but the owner of the eyes was already on Lilly Rose's side, touching her right cheek, and lifted her wrist to check on her pulse.
"Does your friend have any medical condition?"
