"Bye!!"
They said in unison with each other as they do the routine of kissing the air next to their cheeks as they bid goodbye to each other.
Matthew was watching them a few steps back. He had said his goodbye to Susan and he didn't want her to have an opportunity to say more to him because he had a feeling that Lilly Rose would get jealous. Or he hoped she would.
He felt that his wife got jealous a while back when Susan didn't hide her admiration towards him, hanging onto his every word. A sense of pride hit his chest when he saw Lilly Rose's reaction.
If only it wasn't just for a few minutes, he thought to himself as he continued watching Lilly Rose with Susan who didn't seem to finish their goodbyes.
