With moving to the new house, and school, and trying to fit in her new circle of friends, Lilly got busy enough to somehow put her husband at the back of her mind.
When he came back from his business trip, he brought her some gifts and in those piles of gifts, she found some with Markus and Spinner's names. It was enough to bring a smile to her face. The idea of having new friends, even though technically they were nice to her because they were Matthew's friends, gave her some sense of comfort that her trip to follow Matthew had some fun memories.
Nowadays, they were still in the awkward phase of moving from the old house and he didn't expect the setup that they have at the new house.
She was excited to move here because she thought their setup would be different from the old one they have but she was wrong. It's worse!
